Where do we work ?
Why Cape Town ?
What is a township ?

Where do we work?
ACT provides support to women-entrepreneurs in South Africa, the largest economy on the continent.
This country provides jobs for millions of young people from sub-Saharan Africa, notably Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Malawi, DRC, Somalia.
Without these opportunities, workers would have to migrate North to find jobs - i.e.: Europe.
It is therefore our common interest to support  job creation & education in South Africa.

Why Cape Town?
South Africa is the most unequal society in the world, where golf courses can border with slums.

Yet Cape Town is the economic powerhouse of the Western Cape province.
ACT focuses on projects in Cape Town because we believe that a dynamic environment, despite its challenges,  is where wheels can best be put in motion.

What is a township?
The term 'township' usually refers to an under-developed urban area
. If you travel to Cape Town and look forward to your luxury hotel and safari, remember that over two million souls live & struggle in the townships (90.5% Black African, 8.5% Coloured and 0.5% White).
Yet there is a staggering amount of ideas, talent and energy.
ACT supports women and education in townships such as Khayelitsha.
Supporting valid projects is what ACT is all about.
Remember: 100% of donations received go to the beneficiaries.
