What is ACT ?

ACT is a Swiss association supporting
​women-entrepreneurs and youth education.
100% of donations reach the beneficiaries directly.

ACT Association was founded in 2011 by Catherine Schueler and Nick Barraud, struck by the unbelievable inequality prevalent in South Africa.

Projects supported by ACT aim at enabling women bread-winners to achieve financial independence whilst enabling their daughters to access quality education.

It is amazing to see how micro-credit support and a little guidance help restore confidence in launching sustainable and profitable grassroots ventures.

​All overheads and admin. costs are covered personally by the founders.

ACT is a duly recognized public interest association per article 56 let. g of Swiss federal tax law. Consequently, donations are tax-deductible.
